AMWJU decries high handedness by Delhi Manipur Bhavan OSD

Imphal, July 7: The All Manipur Working Journalist Union (AMWJU) has expressed strong dissatisfaction over the working of the authority assigned to look after Manipur Bhavan of both Kolkatta and New Delhi. In a press statement the Union said that no Deputy Residence Commissioner has been appointed but an Officer on Special Duty has been assigned to look after both the Manipur house by extending their service period from time to time. The AMWJU statement also alleged that this OSD is also rendering his duty at his will and has failed to follow the order of the GAD, government of Manipur. It is also stated that accredited journalists who are entitled for VIP suit and who has been alloted by the officials of the GAD, Govt. of India has been sent to ordinary room without giving a damn of the government order/
At Delhi Manipur Bhavan one Karan Mor who is assigned to take care of the Bhavan behave in such a way that he did not care the order of the Deputy Secretary GAD, Govt. of India, for allotment of rooms to individuals, the AMWJU statement added.
