All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) has stepped forward responding to the flood that has ravaged parts of Manipur by providing much-needed relief efforts to the villages in Imphal area.
AMUCO team visited several flood-affected villages, providing essential supplies to those in need. Nagaram Village, which remains submerged under water, received aid through the Nagaram Village Authority. AMUCO donated five bags of rice, one bag of dal, and six liters of edible oil to support the residents during this difficult time.
Similarly, Tangkhul Avenue Village received the same aid package through the Tangkhul Avenue Village Authority, ensuring that the community has access to basic food supplies. Gaipuinam Village also benefited from AMUCO’s generosity, receiving five bags of rice, one bag of dal, and six liters of edible oil through the Gaipuinam Village Authority.
Namdalong Village, through the Namdalong Youth Club, was provided with five bags of rice, one bag of dal, and six liters of edible oil, demonstrating AMUCO’s commitment to reaching out to multiple communities affected by the floods.
The relief efforts were led by AMUCO’s Secretary General, Pratap Leishangthem, Vice President, Koijam Santosh, Organisation Secretary, Leishram Krishnachandra, Publicity Secretary, Heisnam Phoren Mangang, and Office Secretary, R.K. Munin. Their active participation underscored the organization’s dedication to supporting flood victims and providing timely assistance.
