Imphal, Sept 1:
All Manipur United Club Organisation (AMUCO) today handed over relief materials including rice, dal and salt to representatives of Kuki Khanglai Longpi , Churachandpur district which is visiting Chassad Village , Kamjong District for distribution of relief material to the victims of March 16, 2020 , under the aegis of Kuki Inpi Manipur.
The relief itmes were handed over to the President and general secretary of Kuki Khanglai Longpi , Churachandpur a team of AMUCO led by its president Pheiroijam Nando Luwang and General Secretary Thoithoi Khuman today morning .
It may be mentioned that over 100 houses were burnt to ashes on March 16 unfortunate incident at Chassad village in Manipur’s Kamjong district following feud with neighbouring village. Many villagers were left homeless following the clashed and the burning of the houses.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh had set up a three-member enquiry commission to probe the incidents. However, as of today those victims has not been delivered justice till today.
