AMUCO continues distribution of essential items to Covid-19 victims

The All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO)’s zeal for the distribution of essential commodities, including PDS rice to the more severely affected families during this COVID-19 pandemic continues till today.
In collaboration with some enthusiastic social organisations and local clubs, the AMUCO has taken up this task to cover targeted 10,000 very poor families since the last two months.
Today, AMUCO distributed 5 kg rice per household in 80 households in 5 localities of Kiyangei in Keirao Assembly Constituency and 100 households in Naorem Chaprou Samurou under Wangoi Assembly Constituency. With today’s distribution, the AMUCO along closely associated organisations has covered 6503 households so far, stated M.M. Thambou, Assistant, General Secretary, AMUCO.
The team included Pheiroijam Nando Luwang, President, AMUCO, Koijam Santosh Meitei, Organisation Secretary, AMUCO, and several local clubs of Kyamgei, Samurou and Naorem Chaprou.
The collective local clubs and youth organisations of Kyamgei, Samurou and Naorem Chaprou included the Youth Popular Club, the Youth Pioneer Club, the Kyamgei Khagemba Youth Club, the Khagi Club, the Youth Social Club, the HRDO, the NYSC, the EYDO, THE UVYO, the JESA, the SDC and the YSC.
