AMSU Observes 38th Realization Day; Fitting tribute paid to Martyred Students

Imphal, April 17,

 As done every year, All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) today observe 38th Realization Day “Mikap Thokpa Numit” at Pishum Chingamacha, Hao Ground, Singjamei.
Paying floral tributes to the two student martyrs who were killed by police during the “Go Back Foreigner” movement of April 17, 1980, the event was attended by various civil society groups, community leaders and students.
The government needs to study the agreement signed for the foreign act which was revoke on November 18, 1950 in-order to implement the inner line permit system which can be agreed by both hills and valley, Manjit Sarangthem
A mass procession was taken out by the participants from the hillock of Pishum Chingamacha.
Later, a public meeting at Multipurpose Hall of Manipur College was also held.
