The All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) today organised an academic campaign at schools across Kakching district in connection with the 61st Hunger Marchers’ Day 2026.
The campaign was led by AMSU Organisation Secretary Huidrom Punshiba, along with the president and members of the AMSU Kakching District Committee. The programme was held at Unique Academy, Iramdam Maheikol, Langmeidong, and Merciful English School, Sekmaijing.
During the campaign, Punshiba interacted with students on various social issues and highlighted the role and responsibilities of young people in addressing challenges and contributing to society.
He also discussed issues concerning students’ future and emphasised the importance of updating the National Register of Citizens (NRC) before the Census. He urged students to remain aware of the issue and its implications.
