The All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) in a statement today appealed the government to clear the pending scholarship for students.
A statement by the Information and Publicity Secretary of the Students’ Union said that non-releasing of the scholarship that will help the students during this hard time is a much. Release of the scholarship money after the completion of the course will have no meaning at all.
It said that AMSU has been urging the authority (MOBC) for release of the scholarship since it has been put on halt on the ground that there has been some defect from some of the students while submitting the scholarship and forwarding it to the Finance department. On the request, the AMSU has help students in submitting all required documents and finally got the approval of many students. However, there are few who needed to submit required documents. For that The AMSU is open all the time, the statement said.
