AMSU announces UPSC Coaching sponsorship for two aspirants 

The All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) has selected two Civil Services aspirants from Manipur for sponsorship under its flagship initiative, Mission Lamjing, which aims to nurture future administrators from the state.

In a press release, AMSU Vice-President Prikeshwor Moirangthem stated that the Union conducted an Entrance Test and Interview on June 7 and June 9, 2026, to identify sincere and promising candidates aspiring to join the Civil Services.

Arambam Robertson and Bd Goldwyn Anal were chosen for the sponsorship. This marks the second time AMSU has undertaken a UPSC coaching sponsorship programme.

The selected candidates will receive sponsorship for an 11-month UPSC coaching programme at Next IAS, New Delhi. The package includes coaching fees amounting to Rs 2.5 lakh per candidate, along with a monthly stipend of Rs 12,000 for 11 months. The entire expenditure will be borne by the North East Students’ Organisation (NESO) through AMSU.

Classes are scheduled to commence on June 15, 2026, at Next IAS, New Delhi. The selected candidates have been requested to report to the AMSU Temporary Head Office at Keishampat Leishom Leirak, UPF Office, Imphal, to complete the necessary formalities.
