All Meetei Pangal Student’s Union Of Manipur (AMPSUM) has strongly condemned the murder of KorimayumNargish.
KorimayumNargish, daughter of Korimayum Ahamad Ali, went missing on December 22. After days of search by the locals and authority, her lifeless body was found on December 27 at a riverside west of Thambal Academy School, Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai.The student organisation stated that they not only condemn the killing but also stand in solidarity with her family and love ones. Nargish was an academically bright student and recently gave her 6th semester examination at Lilong Haoreibi College.
The crimes against women in particular have been on a rise lately. The orgranisation also urges the government to take immediate measures against all the culprits involved in connection to the murder and to take up further steps by the related authorities to prevent such barbaric acts in the future before it is too late. The organisation stands for justice and equality and is strongly against crimes and wrong-doings against women.
AMPSUM also stands with the JAC formed in connection with the murder of Korimayum Nargish and supports all its activities until justice it attained. The government must handover the culprits involved and bring justice.
