All Manipur Muslim Girls Students’ Union (AMMGSU) has condemned authority of Brighter Academy for banning of wearing veil by students inside the premise of the school campus.
Speaking to media persons, President of AMMGSU, Ruksher Chaudhury said that wearing of veil by Muslim women is compulsory as per the custom of the religion. However, the Principal of the School has imposed ban on wearing veil by Muslim students of the school.
She warned that if the Principal failed to revoke the prohibition order on or before, the Union will take action against the Principal in consultation with concern authority of customary laws.
