AMGHSWA urges govt. to constitute inquiry over the appointment allegations

The All Manipur Government Higher Secondary Welfare Association (AMGHSWA) has urged the state government to constitute an inquiry to the alleged fake appointment of a lecturer in the state education department.
The General Secretary of the AMGHSWA, Meisnam Joykumar speaking to the media persons at its head office at Johnstone Higher Secondary School, Imphal had appealed the state government to investigate over the appointment of Md. Nizamuddin of Lilong who was appointed as regular lecturer on April 7, 1988. Nizamuddin is presently the Principal of Kangchinglung Higher Secondary School, Khapum in Tamenglong district. The General Secretary alleged that the Nizamuddin was appointed in back door without following the proper rules and procedure.
He further added that in 1988 there was an advertisement for appointment of 261 lecturers by the MPSC, the written test was conducted on March 19, 1988 and a total of 261 lecturers have been selected and provided appointment orders on October 26. Nizamuddin who is a maths lecturers was not among the nine selected lecturers for mathematic. He further added Nizamuddin’s appointment order was offered during the process of the MPSC exam for the appointment of the lecturers by not facing any exam.
He further added that the association has complaint the matter to the government in 2008 and later in 2014 to investigate over the matter. But till today no action has been initiated. He said the association will now go to the court .
