AMBSU organised Bengali inclusive programme

The All Manipur Bengali Students Union (AMBSU) organised a Bengali inclusive programme today at Chandranathpur, Jiribam with an objective for educational development of deprived Bengali communities of Manipur.

The programme was attended by MLA of Jiribam Assembly Constituency Ashab Uddin as Chief Guest while Md. Abdul Mallik, Chief Advisor of All Manipur Bengali Students Union as functional President and Samol Bose, Ex- Headmaster, Netaji High School and Social Worker of Borobekra Sub-Division of Jiribam District; Sadesh Sarkar, Educationist from Jirighat, Cachar along with many other dignitaries from Cachar District of Assam shared the dais as Guests of honour respectively.

The dignitaries talked about united Hindu and Muslim Bengali identity and educational development of the community in the programme.

They also commemorated the great soul of Bengali people who had sacrificed for the cause of the Bengali language and identity in India.

They also appealed to all the Bengali for giving emphasis to their own language and cultures.

Speaking at the programme, MLA of Jiribam Assembly constituency Md. Ashab Uddin said for the development of language we need to have Sahitya Shaba. He also appealed to the guardian for providing proper education to their children both in mother tongue and other languages.

He also said being a citizen of Manipur, we need to learn Manipuri language along with our mother tongue.

He also assured to All Manipur Bengali Students Union to extends all possible helps for the development of education in Jiribam.
