AJUCA volunteers unloading rice bags from train bogie’s in absence of regular labourer

Amid the imposed of lockdown through out the State of Manipur to counter the spread of COVID-19, the All Jiribam United Clubs’ Association (AJUCA), a parental body of all the Clubs’ of Jiribam takes the rigorous challenges to unload the rice bags from the train bogie’s and to load it into the lorries which have to shift to the different District of Manipur.
The steps has taken by the Association due to shortage of labourers for loading and unloading the rice bags from the train wagon on the impact of lockdown.
Around forty volunteers of AJUCA have been takes part in the loading and unloading of rice bags from the bogie’s of train in presence of AJUCA’s President M.Maipaksana Mangang, General Secretary N.Dharmendra Meetei and other executive members.
Speaking with the media person, the President of AJUCA M. Maipaksana Mangang said that due to world-wide pandemic issue of COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown, there is a shortage of labourers for loading and unloading of rice bags from the train wagon which reached at Jiribam train station.
He added, the AJUCA volunteers come forward to extend their support to the government for unloading and loading the rice bags from the train bogie’s to the
lorries, so that it might shift to the other District of Manipur in time for Distribution to the general public and which will ease the difficulties of people in a greater extend amid lockdown.
