AJMWS restricts Eid festival

Considering the present situation in Manipur, the All Jiribam Muslim Welfare Society (AJMWS) restricted the recreation and entertainment of Eid-ul-Aadha festival.
The decision has taken in a meeting of the Society held at Lalpani, Jiribam.
On the press note, the All Jiribam Muslim Welfare Society stated the Eid-ul-adha namaz will be observed at the respective Masjid of the locality by restricting the mass gathering of prayers at Eidgha’s of Muslim areas of Jiribam for expressing condolence on the present situation of Manipur.
The meeting also decided to restrict all kinds of recreation and entertainment of the Eid-ul-Aadha festival in the Muslim areas of Jiribam expect essential payers of Eid and necessary activities
The All Jiribam Muslim Welfare Society also appealed to all the Muslim youth of Jiribam to abstain from all kinds of recreation and entertainment related to Eid-ul-Aadha due to the present situation of Manipur.
Considering the present situation in Manipur, the All Jiribam Muslim Welfare Society decided to offer a special prayer on Eid day for restoring of peace and normally as well as for the peaceful rest of the departed soul who dies in the ongoing violence of Manipur. It is also appealed to all the Muslim brethren of Jiribam not to make unnecessary gatherings at the market areas and in the important places of Jiribam.
The meeting observed 2 minutes of silence prayers for the peaceful rest of the departed soul in the recent incident in Manipur.
