Aimol Tribe Union, Manipur condemned the allegations raised by some group for the sudden death of Thongkhogin Haokip on the fateful night of February 29, 2016.
Vice President of Aimol Tribe Union, Manipur, Kh Neikhup said in his press statement that on the fateful day of February 29, men and women numbering more than 400 armed with sticks, rods and even guns with the instigation of UKLF from Molnoi area stormed into the village creating chaos and fear among the villagers. The allegations made by some groups that Thongkhogin Haokip was killed by Aimol Satu is baseless as he was loved and respected by the Aimol Community especially by the Satu Villagers.
Kh Neikhup said that the communal minded group damaged their village gates and burnt down three houses, vehicles, killing many domestic animals. During the incident State security personnel were also present.
Kh Neikhup further said that the villagers have fled to the nearby villages fearing that a communal clash may breakout.
The Aimol Community appealed the Government of Manipur to look into the matter and provide necessary materials for the displaced villagers, he added.

Aimol people needs to die. They will be responsible for naga-kuki conflict. They r just handful but problem everywhere.
