Aimol Tribe Union, Manipur today said that the union will stand strong opposition to any new establishment of villages in the land belong to Aimol community in Chandel district. It said the Aimol people had destroyed a new village extended from Saivom village to the territory of the Aimol people. It further said that the Aimol people will impose strict prohibition to any new settler in the Aimol territories with the permission of the original Aimol people.
