Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Manipur in association with State Commission for Persons with Disabilities and Meitei Council Moreh has distributed aids and appliances to disable persons during a home based awareness and counselling function held on 6-7 April at Moreh town.Differently abled persons of Moreh were sensitized on Right of Persons with Disabilities enshrined under person with disabilities act- 1995. Secretary of the relief centre, Moirangthem Premier; staffs of State Disabilities Commission and relief centre; President of YDO, Dr Joychandra Sharma; Co-Convenor Panchayat Cell, BJP Manipur State Unit, Thokchom Sumanta and members of Meitei Council Moreh attended the awareness cum counselling.Hearing aids, wheel chairs, elbow crust, white cane, auxiliary crust and other distributed to disable persons. Besides, president of YDO Joychandra and Panchayat Cell Co-Convenor assured to distribute flora machines to them.
