Aibulon-Bungpilon road inaugurated

The 25 km long Aibulon –Bungpilon road under Thanlon Sub-Division of Churachandpur District has been inaugurated by Vungzagin Valte, MLA of Thanlon AC.
It is said that the road had been constructed with an estimated cost of Rs. 11,89,00,00 to connect the Bungpilon village, which is located at a distance of about 250 km from Churachandpur District Headquarters and established in the year 1911, with Aibulon village of the same district.
Bungpilon, the birth place of Phungzathang Tonsing, Health Minister of the state, has been deprived of basic amenities such as health care, education and PDS items due to lack of efficient road connectivity with other villages. For the past many years, the hilly village remained as one of the remotest village as vehicles could not reach the village.
