ACOAM-Lup, Kangleipak strongly condemned the attempt to assault the president of Editors’ Guild, Manipur.
In a press released, Sanjit Soraisam, Secretary General of ACOAM-Lup, Kangleipak said that Manipur Government should bring an amicable solution of the incident. It also alleges that the attempt to assault to the president of Editors’ Guild is an indication of disrespecting the media fraternity. The statement also asked the reason for encouraging APO Th. Shyamo, in spite of the demand to bring an amicable solution of the incident, where Editors’ Guild’s president, A Mobi and Secretary, Rupachandra were ill-treated.
ACOAM-Lup demanded that the authority should inquire that the recent statement of Th. Shyamo was made on his own or with the consent of the authority.
