A 13 years old minor girl, identified as Baby Bindiya, aged about 13 years, daughter of Chourjit Singh who was found abandoned at Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal, Imphal East is presently givn care and protection at Punya Shelter Home for girls, Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai Imphal West.
A statement of District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Imphal East said that a case has been taken up as per order Child Welfare Committee, Imphal East (Misc. Matter no. CWC IE/Adoption/2015-16/001) and the child is taken as abandoned child.
The statement further stated that whoever wants to know the whereabouts of the child and claim her may, by furnishing the relevant document, may contact to District Child Protection Unit, Imphal East, Bal Bhavan, Khuman Lampak or Child Welfare Committee, Imphal East, Wangkhei Ayangpalli Road or the Superintendent, Punya Shelter for girls- 8413868980.
