AASUM extends monetary assistance

All Assam Manipuri Students Union (AAMSU) has extended monetary assistance to Samom Sunilkumar of Uripok who has been undergoing medical treatment at Guwahati after sustaining serious injury during the ongoing mass movement for introduction of Inner Line Permit System in Manipur.
A team of AAMSU handed over a sum of Rs 2000 to the family members of the ILP protestor.
While addressing a gathering at a convention held at DNNK Girls High School regarding the ILP movement, president of the union said that the demand for introduction of ILPS in Manipur is  constitutional and political rights of the people of Manipur.
In support of the ongoing ILPS movement, the Union is ready to extend all possible help to the Joint Committee On Inner Liner Permit System.
