Based on specific intelligence received regarding presence of an active cadre of KYKL in Chakpikarong area, troops of Kakching Battalion Assam Rifles launched an operation in village Novokom, Chakpikarong, Chandel District on 23 September 2018 and successfully apprehended Mr Khumukcham Ingocha Singh@ Raghu@ Yomgmu resident of Umathel Makha Leikai village, Kakching District at 2345 hours on 23 September 2018.The Kakching Battalion handed over the apprehended individual to Chakpikarong Police Station on 24 September 2018.
