69th Hiroshima Day observed

World’s deadliest bombing in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during Second World War was remembered today at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.The observance of 69th Hiroshima Day which was organised by Indo-Japan Friendship Association, Manipur was attended by Dr. M. Nara, ex-Minister, Government of Manipur, President, Indo-Cuban Friendship Society as the Chief Guest said the observance is very important to give awareness of the ugliest human activities of Nuclear war to mass people. He added that the deadliest war claimed millions lives and the radiation effect of the toxic weapon caused maximum damage all over in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He further said that we should discuss why there is construction of Nuclear weapons which could give a bad result if the deadly weapons go to terrorist’ hand. He added that the money used for producing Nuclear weapons can cure maximum poverty on Earth. Thus the observance is very important to spread the awareness of the massive war throughout the people and to bring peace, added Nara.
