Imphal, July 8: a six year old boy succumbed to injuries sustained during a road accident yesterday. The boy had been undergoing medical treatment at RIMS Emergency Ward following the accident. The boy has been identified as Md Ismat Khan S/o Md Tajuddin of Yairipok Santhel Makha Leikai. The accident occurred at Uchiwa, Mayang Imphal when a Tata truck bearing registration No. MN03T-0337 collided with an autorickshaw bearing registration MN01Y at around 9.30 pm. The deceased boy was travelling in the autorickshaw. He was rushed to RIMS immediately after the incident but was declared dead a short while after.
