At least 6 shops were gutted in accidental fire break out at Khongshang market T-Point under Noney Police Station at around 8 pm yesterday evening.
A team of CRPF rescue team of D/143 Battalion led by Awaadhesh Kumar , Second-in-command along with Inspector Chauhan rushed to the spot and immediately swung into action to put the fire under control. Troops of D/23 Assam Rifles and local people also rushed the spot. Together the fire was extinguished. There are no reports of any human casualty. However some properties were lost. The total lost is yet to be estimated.
