All Manipur Women’s Social Reformation Development Samaj (Nupi Samaj ) today observed 43rd Meira Paibi Day at Khunthokhanbi Sanglen, Thangmeiband today.
President of the Nupi Samaj Th. Ramni leima , President of AMKIL, L. Nganbi Leima , President of Tammi Chingmi, Y. Momon Leima , President of CHTUWA, M. Purnimashi Leima , President of WASEDEV, RK. Tharaksana Leima, President of IKAL, N. Memma Leima , President of KMA Atongpui kabui, and Advisor of Nupi Samaj Kh. Indu Leima attended as presidium members.
Prof. Norem Joykumar who attended as resource person while speaking on the occasion recounted historical facts about the origin of Meira Paibi and the role played by the Meira Paibi in Manipur’s society.
