Makaam Youth Organisation (MYO) organized a child advocacy program called ‘Mission: Makaam Kamthao dikho’.
The Mission aims to adopt Makaam School Students who are helpless but who really want to continue their studies. As a starter for the academic session 2024-2025 MYO in Collaboration with Berean English School, Khumji, and Sharon English School, Longmai has decided to adopt two students, one student each by these two Schools. Berean English School and Sharon English have generously offered to give free education inclusive of boarding facilities till these students pass out their matriculation. MYO, on the other hand, will look into the requirements such as Books, uniforms, and other necessities including financial assistance when required.
Makaam Youth Organisation is a philanthropic and non-profit civil organisation purely engaged in charitable and humanitarian services. MYO is comprised of youths from the four cognate tribes of Zemei, Liangmai, Rongmei, and Inpui. The organisation firmly believes in the social and cultural upliftment of the community.
