The NCC ‘C’ Certificate Examination for the training year 2025–26 was conducted successfully at five designated centres under the NCC Group Headquarters, Imphal.
According to an official press statement issued by Wing Commander Mutum Sandip Singh, Commanding Officer, a total of 382 Senior Division and Senior Wing cadets from 1 Manipur Air Squadron NCC, 14 Manipur Battalion NCC and 65 Manipur Girls Battalion NCC, Imphal, appeared for the examination. The examination was carried out under the supervision and administrative arrangements of the Commanding Officers of the respective units.
The NCC ‘C’ Certificate is the highest qualification in NCC training and signifies the completion of nearly three years of institutional training, camps, and prescribed physical and leadership activities. Certificate holders are eligible for benefits in recruitment to the Armed Forces through the NCC Special Entry Scheme, including direct SSB calls and reserved vacancies in institutions such as the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.
The certificate also provides advantages in recruitment to paramilitary forces including the Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force and Central Industrial Security Force, as well as opportunities in State and Central police services and other government departments.
