The Centre has said that focus will continue on the development of North East . Talking to newsmen in Guwahati today, Information & Broadcasting minister for State Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that Prime Minister believes in action so he emphasized on Act East policy. He said that AIR has high reach in North East. The Minister informed the media that Information and broadcasting ministry will encourage in setting up community radios in border areas. Mr. Rathore said that thrust has been given in North East region and his ministry will provide supports in setting community radios in the region.
