3 Khwairamband IMA Keithel and adjoining Temporary market shut-down for 10 days

In view of the sudden spikes of the COVID-19 cases in the state of Manipur, state authority has framed more effective strictures to contain the virus from spreading more.
For the 2nd time, the three Kwairamband Ima Keithel and the adjoining temporary market has been ordered to shut down to prevent large gathering as the three market area is the most crowded and insecure place.
In an order issued by the In-Charge Chief Secretary M. H. Khand today imposition of night curfew, restriction of gatherings, restored opening of shops in Paona Bazar and Thangal Bazar will remain as it is.
M. H. Khan took charge as the Chief Secretary in Charge after Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar was tested COVID-19 positive and has been undergoing treatment at RIMS here in Imphal. His condition is stated to be recovering, a source said. 4 other IAS who are holding the important designation of the state government also tested positive. All are stated to be recovering.
The order issued today said that –
One in every three shops located in Galis of Thangal Bazar and Paona Bazar to be opened on rotation. For example on day 1 to open Shop Nos. 1, 4, 7, etc, on day 2 to open shop Nos. 2,5, 8, etc. and on day 3 open shop Nos. 3, 6, 9, etc.
One is each three shops of Wholesale and grocer item shops in Masjid road to be opened on rotation. For example on day 1 to open shop Nos. 1,4, 7, etc., on day 2 to open shop Nos. 2, 5, 8, etc. and on day 3 to open shop Nos. 3,6, 9, etc.
One in each three shops of Ngari Gali be allowed to open on rotation. For example on day 1 to open shop Nos. 1, 4, 7, etc., on day 2 to open shop Nos. 2,5, 8, etc. and on day 3 open shop Nos. 3,6, 9, etc.
All public transport vehicles, examples, Buses, Winger vans, Magic vans, Auto-rickshaw, E-Rickshaw, etc. to carry passengers upto maximum half capacity and ensure all passengers wear facemask always.
For markets in other districts, the DC and SP should immediately evaluate and issue suitable restriction Orders.
This is issued on continuation and in partial modification of the order referred to a para 1 above.
Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West and Superintendent of Police, Imphal West shall take necessary action to implement the orders.
