Imphal, Dec. 23: Three persons inlcuding two female and a male were held with 75 piece of heroin powder at Takhel Mayai Leikai at around 2.30 am today.
Report reaching here said that meira paibi which were gaurding the locality on being found a pleasure vehicle coming towards Yanagangpokpi halted the vehicle and check them. The meira paibi found 75 peice of heroin powder from their possession.
The two female has been identified as Joyshy Kasar (age 25) and Rotah (age about 34) both hailed from a village near Yaingangpokpi.
The male was identified as Phanjaobam Pavi (age 26) son of Gouramangol of Andro Khunou.
The three persons were later handed over to Lamlai police station.
As per report the three persons bought the heroin powder from a place at North AOC Imphal and were smuggling to Yainagngpokpi area. Police had registered a case.
