Chandel, May 5: Following dissatisfaction over the allotment of Party’s ticket for the forth coming Autonomous District Council (ADC) Election, 3 Executive members of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chandel District including its working President along with State Vice- President of Kisan Morcha BJP Manipur Pradesh tendered resignation from their respective post and party’s membership today.
Speaking to the media persons at the Party’s Office located at Kanankhu Village in Chandel District, Tonsing Willingson Anal said that BJP existed in Chandel District since long time back but no one heard about the party and aware of its existence in the District.
However, since the last Parliamentary Election, the Party is rapidly gaining popularity in the District as a result of collective efforts and hard works of the present executive members under my leadership, he added.
Tongsin also maintained that the State President and General Secretary of BJP Manipur Pradesh allotted party’s ticket to the members who joined the party recently by ignoring the contribution of the active members who have worked for the popularity of the party since the past many years.
He further maintained that he joined the party after believing in the party’s principle of “Development for All, Equal Development” and the vision of Narendra Modi led Government for Good Governance.
However, these Principles and Vision of Good Governance of BJP can’t be achieved under the leadership of Th. Chaoba, State President and Ashnikumar, General Secretary of BJP Manipur Pradesh. As such, I tender my resignation from the party’s membership and from post of Working President of the District as, added Tongsin.
Dy. Holngam, Secretary of Scheduled Tribe (ST) Morcha BJP Chandel Mandal and KT. Hari, Executive Member of BJP Chandel District along with Ts. Beton Anal, Vice-President of Kishan Morcha, BJP Manipur Pradesh also informed the media persons about their resignation from the respective post and membership of the Party today.
Meanwhile, Ts. Konal Anal, Vice President BJP Chandel District told the media person that it is unfortunate for the party’s worker that the State President and General Secretary of the Party allotted the party’s ticket to the new members who joined the party recently with considering the recommendation of the District, Mandals and Morchas’
While doubting the credibility of State President Th. Chaoba and General Secretary Ashnikumar, Ts Konal questioned how came the party’s leaders allotted tickets to these new members who does not even worked one day for the party.
In contrary to the hard work of Narendra Modiji’s for removing corruption, the incumbent leaders of BJP Manipur Pradesh were indulged in corruption while allotting the party ticket for the upcoming ADC Election, he alleged.
The District’s Vice-President also warned that all the party’s workers including the executive members of the District will resign en masses, if the incumbent State President and General Secretary did not apology within 2 days.
