3-day Block Master trainers training program begins in Chandel

A three-day Block Master Trainers (BMT) Training Program under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan commenced today at the Conference Hall of the DC Office, Chandel. The programme was organised by the Deputy Commissioner of Chandel.
Speaking at the event as District Master Trainer, K. Pawankumar Sharma, Range Officer of Chandel Range, Chandel Forest Division, stated that the District Master Trainers (DMT) trained under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan will train the Block Master Trainers, who in turn will train Village Master Trainers. The initiative, driven by the Tribal Welfare Programme of the Central Government, aims to reach the grassroots level, bringing together multiple departments for effective implementation of government schemes.
Pawankumar Sharma further stated that, upon completion of the training, villages selected by the District Administration will establish Adi Seva Kendras to address the various needs of the community, including infrastructure such as roads and other essential services. Monsang Pantha Village, located in the district headquarters of Chandel, has been chosen to be the first to implement the initiative as per the directives of the Deputy Commissioner.
The training programme was attended by representatives from the Forest Department, Education, Social Welfare, PHED, Health, Rural Development departments, and NGOs along with Md. Firoz Khan, ADC Chandel, and Vijaykumar, District Prabhari Officer, Chandel, Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
