A total of 27 Bangladesh nationals who had completed jail term for entering the territory of Manipur without proper valid documents had been repatriated to their country.
The 27 Bangladesh Nationals were handed over to the authorities of the Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh at BSF post at Karimganj (Assam) and Zakiganj (Bangladesh) on January 28 this year after the matter has been informed to the Bangladesh Embassy by the Joint Secretary Home, H. Rupachandra.
