Imphal, Oct 2: Unknown miscreants today burnt two loaded trucks at Karang area in Senapati district at around 4.30 am. Report reaching here said that the two goods ferrying trucks were coming towards Imphal from Dimapur. Around 10 persons stopped the two trucks and after pulling down the drivers and assistance of the trucks the miscreant set ablaze the two trucks. Source said that the miscreants might have been supporters of the Contract teachers who have been enforcing economic blockade along the two national highways since the midnight of September 26, demanding regularization of their post. The economic blockade was supported by various organizations of Senapati district.
