Imphal: Vendor ladies and shop keepers of Jiribam Lamlong Keithel today called total shut down of the market for two days starting from today over non availability of electricity in and around the area.
There has been black out in and around the Lamlong Keithel area after a transformer installed in the area has been taken for repairmen about 15 days back and following that the surrounding remains black out and government is not taking the matter seriously, said a vendor lady.
“If the electricity department failed to repair the transformer and installed it at the earliest possible time then the vendor ladies along with the locals will launch serious form of agitation “, the lady said.
