1st Manipur National Convention on Socialism was held today at Iboyaima Sumang Leela Sanglen organised by the Socialist Students’ Union of Manipur (SSUM) in association with like minded organisation of the state. Around 2000 people attended the convention. Representatives of the Regional political parties also attended the first convention. Editor of Imphal Times Rinku Khumukcham, Convenor of the Young Communist League W. Kameshor, President of AMMOCOC S.M Jalal and Senior Journalist of Imphal Free Press Paojel Chaoba attended the convention as presidium members.
