The 132nd Commemorative function of the 23 Manipuri exiled heroes, including Maharaja Kullachandra at Andaman Islands in 1891 was held at BT Park Southern Side organised by Forum For Protection of Heritage of 23 Unsung Hero, Andaman Chapter, 1891. Maharaja Kullachandra and others were boarded by a ship called S.S. Shahjahan and reached Andaman Islands on 23/11/1891.
During the function, a book name “Andaman Da Loi Thakhiba Athouba 23” authored by Kakchingtabam Gunachandra Sharma was also released. The function was attended by the Rajya Sabha MP Maharaja Sanajaoba Leisemba, RD& PR Minister Yumnam Khemchand, and descendants of the 23 exiled heroes.
