If the strike is for 12 hours and starts from 6 pm of June 1 it ends at 6 am of June 2. If the purpose of the strike is to ban the election thst is schedule to be on 2 June the strike is not serving it's purpose. Usually voting is done between 8 am and 4 pm so it is after the strike ends.
