At least 10 shops were gutted in freak fire accident at around 11.30 pm last night at Irilbung Keithel. Initial report suggests that over rupees 50 lakh worth’s properties were destroyed by the inferno. However, there are no reports of any human casualty. Four fire tender of the state fire service extinguished the inferno from spreading further. According to firemen, the fire could have been cause of electric short circuit.
