Imphal: One passenger died another 12 sustained injury after a Imphal bound passenger vehicle (Winger Van) met an accident and fall into a 200 ft depth gorge at NH-37 between Awangkhul 1 and Awangkhul 2 near milestone 85 under Noney police station at around 3 am today.
The deceased died in the accident is a pastor and is identified as Kadinlungbou from Nrengmai(Eleng) village in Tamei Area.
Personnel of 14 Sikh Regiment posted at Awangkhul alnong with police team which rushed the site conducted rescue work and evacuated those injured.
