1 day cleaning program

Imphal, July 16: MLA L Radhakishore, Chairman of Manipur Pollution Control Board today appeals the people of the state not to dispose any kind of solid waste wherever or anywhere they want. Speaking on the sideline on the occasion of one day cleaning program at Thangal Bazar, Thangmeiband Watham Leirak and Muchi Leirak organised by Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency Development Forum, MLA Radhakishore said that under the NAMAMI Mission efforts will be made to clean the major rivers in the state which falls into Loktak Lake. Radhakishre also said that as approved by the central pollution control board, quality monitoring cell will be set up at old assembly road. In Imphal west areas, Khurai Lamlong, Singjamei, Kwakeithel, Tera, Uripok etc to monitor the air pollution in the state on daily basis.
