Imphal, June 15: At least 1 personnel of the 17 Assam Rifles was killed another 3 sustained serious injury after rebel triggered an IED at Chasad area in Ukhrul district at around noon today. Report reaching here said that the 17 AR team were on road patrol when the blast was triggered .
Identities of the AR personnel are yet to be known. All the injured were evacuated to Leimakhong by helicopter.
So far no one has claimed responsibility of the attack.
