Though I’m not the authority, however, with utmost respect, I wish to apprise to your goodself that I do have an emotional attachment to Assam as I was brought up there and as a concerned citizen, I sincerely feel that the second wave of COVID-19 is rising uncontrollably as per the reports shown in various media outlets and thus, the health care workers in some states are having a pretty hard time trying to handle the situation at the best of the their abilities.
With respect to Assam, as per the report we received, we are very well aware that Covid cases are increasing in a very quick manner when compared to /with other parts of North East states of India.Moreover, Bihu festival is just knocking at the door so if the people there in Assam does not adhere to SOP guidelines provided by the government, I’m afraid, it might go out of hands.
Therefore, in view of the above premises, at least, in my personal opinion, I presume that it will be wise to take up some initiative by the concerned authority. Such as closing down of Schools and Colleges for the time being and make them study online like before (which were done earlier) when covid hit first.I’m appealing this for the welfare of our students who have come to study in Assam from different parts of North Eastern States.
I hope your goodself will consider this request of mine in favourable light.
And for this act of kindness, I shall ever remain indebted to your goodself.
