No appointment given to MLAs delegation by PM: Yet another insult to Manipur

Even as the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has not spoken anything in connection to the ongoing crisis in the state, the people of the state still have faith in the leadership of Narendra Modi and keep urging the MLAs and Ministers to urge him for immediate solution to the present crisis. Even after 45 days, the PM has not spoken even a single word to the crisis in Manipur. In his latest Maan ki Baat, yesterday, the Prime Minister did not mention even a single word in connection with the present crisis in the state. In his Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast, Modi mention about the devastation caused by cyclone Biparjoy no words about the ongoing crisis in Manipur.
Besides, all the above facts, people of the state still have faiths to the Prime Minister and urged all the MLAs and Ministers to meet the Prime Minister. Under the pressure of the people of the state, MLAs and Ministers including the Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly had left Imphal for New Delhi for meeting the Prime Minister. Almost all the MLAs and Ministers including many representatives of the women’s bodies have reached New Delhi. The unfortunate part is that the delegation of the Ministers and MLAs mostly from the BJP are not given any appointment of the Prime Minister in the late hours today. Interestingly the Prime Minister is leaving the country tomorrow.
The attitude of the Prime Minister is crystal clear. What could be a better word to use than the title of this writing? If the attitude of the Prime Minister is not an ‘insult’ to the people of Manipur, then what could it be.
What is more unfortunate for the people of the state is the sincerity of the MLAs and the Ministers of the state? Report reaching here in Imphal said that the delegation of the MLAs and Ministers from the state met the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. But the demand put up to the Defence Minister also seems to be irrelevant. Everyone knows that there is a suspicion of foreign hands to the ongoing crisis in the state. Media reports have mentioned about the involvement of the Chin Kuki Defence Force time and again. If the delegation met the Defence Minister, they should urge him for clarification in connection with the news reports.
Instead of that the delegation reportedly urged the defence minister to Stop violence across the state and bring peaceful environment in the state for everyone to live together. Also to protect the Territorial Integrity of the State to be protected at all costs.
What is the relevance in demanding stringent action/measures against insurgent groups who have violated ground rules on the State and to withdraw SoO and bring them back at their designated camps, when is known to everyone that this kind of matter should be taken up with the Union Home Minister.
The prime minister had once more insulted the people and the ministers and the MLAs are not spelling out the reality to the people on fear of losing their position.
