Protest stage at Singngat, burn MLA’s effigy

Joint Action Committee against the 3 tribal Bills of Singngat area today held a protest rally from Singngat to Lamka police station. The protestors also burnt the effigy of MLA Ginsuanhau in front of Churachandpur Police Station. Slogans denouncing the passing of the 3 government Bills for implementation of ILPS in the state were shouted during the protest. The agitator also shouted other slogans demanding separate administration for the Churachandpur region. The JAC further condemn the Hill Area Committee members of the Manipur Legislative Assembly and demanded immediate resignation from the Manipur government.
