RS MP Sanajaoba reiterated PM’s vision of Viksit Bharat

The Sardar@150 Unity March (Ek Bharat – Aatmanirbhar Bharat), in commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of first deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India also known as Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was held today DC Office Complex, Kakching district. The programme was organised by District Administration, Kakching and assisted by Mera Yuva Bharat, Kakching, NSS Cell and District Youth Affairs and Sports, Kakching.
The programme was attended by Maharaja Leishemba Sanajaoba, MP Rajya Sabha as Chief Guest, Shri Rohit Anand (IAS), DC Kakching as President along with Priyadarshini Laishram, SP Kakching district and L Marjit Kumar, State Director of Mera Yuva Bharat, Manipur as Guests of Honour.
Addressing the gathering, MP Maharaja Leishemba Sanajaoba said that the commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, which began on October 31, is being organised across different districts of the state. He described Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as a hardworking leader with firm determination who rose from a humble background to become the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India.
The MP further stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants the youth and students of the country to develop the spirit of unity, patriotism and a sense of civic responsibility through the programme.
Maharaja Leishemba Sanajaoba also noted that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel dedicated his life to the unification of India. He appealed to students and youth to follow the footstep of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to make a new unified Manipur and India. He further highlighted “Viksit Bharat,” the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation by the time it completes 100 years of independence in 2047.
He appealed to the youth and students to imbibe a sense of nationalism as a way to address the various issues confronting Manipur.
Later, the Sardar@150 Unity March was flagged off by MP Maharaja Leishemba Sanajaoba from the DC Office Complex, after which it proceeded through Kakching Phousupat and then returned to the DC Office Complex.
The programme was attended by District Level Officers, police personnel, students and teachers from various schools in Kakching district, as well as staff from different departments.
