Bishnupur DC orders re-submission of paddy compensation forms

The Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur has issued a public notice directing farmers to re-submit applications for compensation related to the failure of Kharif Paddy cultivation in 2024.
The notice, issued on October 3, 2025, stated that earlier applications submitted by affected farmers had been rejected. Fresh applications must now be filed online through https://farmercompensation.in using an Aadhaar-linked mobile number. The deadline for re-submission is October 15, 2025, and no applications will be accepted thereafter.
Applicants are required to submit a copy of the new acknowledgement receipt, along with the previously rejected application, to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner and the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer.
Signed by Deputy Commissioner Pooja Elangbam, the notice advised farmers to use smartphones or computers to complete the online process and strictly follow the revised procedure to ensure their claims are processed.
The re-submission drive aims to ensure that eligible farmers, who were unable to cultivate Kharif Paddy due to the prevailing crisis, can avail the compensation benefits within the stipulated timeframe.
