Sanjenbam Jugeshwor Singh, Assistant Professor of JCRE Global College, Babupara, and a regular columnist of Imphal Times English daily, has been selected for the State Science Communicator Award 2024 on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, along with a memento and citation. His selection is in recognition of his consistent contributions in the field of science communication through articles on Science & Technology and Environment published in Imphal Times and other local dailies, as well as in NE Scholar Magazine.
He is also credited for his Mathematical Talk Series, organised by the Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC), which has been widely appreciated for promoting scientific temper among students and the general public.
