The 19th Foundation Day of the Imphal East District United Clubs’ Organisation (IEDUCO) was observed today at Kongba Kshetri Leikai Community Hall – 2, Imphal East with Pheiroijam Nando Luwang, president, All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) as the chief guest.
In his speech, Nando lamented over the extensive human rights violations perpetrated by the Kuki terrorists for almost 19 months. He criticized killing of innocent women and children and lambasted the central government for holding talks with these terrorists organization instead of militarily dealing with them. He urged the local clubs of Manipur to unitedly face the challenges Manipur has been facing since the Kuki Aggression on Manipur on 3 May 2023.
The function was attended by representatives of Poirei Leimarol Meira paibi Apunba Manipur, Uchekon Nongpok Gram Panchayat, South Eastern United Club’s Organisation, Naharol Lamjing Meira, Semgatminnasi Apunba Nupiu Lup and various local people.
